Still Here

A petal hushed,

almost hanging

in air,

drifts from faded bouquet

Soft pink remnant settles

onto mirrored bronze table

among two just like it.

Though showing its age,

bouquet’s young beauty lost,

life remains.

Faded,

but still glorious.
