This is my version of today's prompt, which was to write a "list poem," repeating the opening words of each line.

I am a Woman who Knows

 

I am a woman who knows a thing or two about life

A woman who knows that silence is golden

And the only behavior I can control is my own

I am a woman who knows how to approach life with love

A woman who accepts every person

And accentuates the positive

I am a woman who knows how to cram each day to capacity

A woman who covets contact with her people

And creates a lifelong bond

I am a woman who knows how to listen

A woman who hears intimate stories

And keeps them in her heart

I am a woman who knows a thing or two about life
